Post-Secondary Admissions

Post-secondary institutions such as colleges and universities use various admission criteria when assessing applicants.  Typically, applicants come from either a traditional school background or from an alternate learning experience such as home education or foreign applicants. Those students who did not follow a standard program are assessed using different criteria that vary from school to school.

In order to better help our students move on to the post-secondary training of their choice, we have worked with institutions in all over Canada to find out what these different admission criteria are. The information that we have gathered can be found below!

Once a student has selected the school(s) that interest them the most, we suggest getting in contact with the school as soon as possible as admission based on alternate criteria can take more time than those from a standard background.

If you represent a college or university and would like to have your institution included in our list, please review our Home Education admissions policy recommendations, and then submit an application.
